AIs new project Timestreams

Active Ingredient have been quietly working on their new project Timestreams, a collaboration between AI, RCUK’s Horizon Digital Economy Research Hub, University of Nottingham, Carlo Buontempo at the UK MET office and British Brazilian artist Silvia Leal.

The project will be going live in Rio de Janeiro in September and in Nottinghamshire in October 2012.

Active Ingredient’s team will be travelling to Brazil on the 16th September to begin a 2 weeks residency, firstly at Gargarullo in Miguel Perriera, hosted by the British Brazilian performance company Zecuro Ura and in the second week at Barracao Maravilha in Lapa, Rio de Janeiro where we will be working with the resident artists towards an exhibition and presentation of the project.

Our developments, interventions and activities will be documented through the Timestreams website (going live soon) and through our AI blog.
